Training & Placement Support
What a puppy leaves here already knowing, and what comes after — through to protection and detection work.
A Puppy That Has Already Started
Every puppy we place has been handled from the beginning. Early socialisation, structure and mental stimulation are not extras we sell — they are what happens by default in a house run by trainers, and they are the reason our puppies arrive able to settle rather than needing to be undone first.
That head start is the beginning of the work, not the end of it. A working-line Rottweiler or German Shepherd is a dog with a job requirement built into it, and the first year decides whether that drive becomes a partnership or a problem. We would rather tell you that plainly than sell you a puppy and disappear.

What Comes With A Placement
Every dog leaves with early socialisation and basic handling already underway, and with us on the end of a phone. Lifetime support is the standing offer: training guidance, questions about development and care, and an honest answer when something is not working. We would rather hear from you in month three than find out in year two.

Puppy Foundations
The window that matters most, and the one people spend on house-training alone. Puppy Socialization classes run at a maximum of four dogs, which is the point — a puppy learning to be neutral around other dogs needs controlled exposure, not a free-for-all. This is where recall, handling tolerance and an off switch get built, while it is still easy.

Board And Train
The dog stays at the ranch and works daily with the trainers. Argos Board and Train covers behaviour correction and a basic obedience foundation — the option for an owner who does not have the hours, or for a dog that has picked up something that needs unpicking by someone who has done it before. Advance Training and Basic Agility carry on from there.

Where The Breed Was Going Anyway
Protection and detection are what these lines were built for, and they are what the training arm specialises in — alongside agility, therapy and rehabilitation work. Not every dog wants this and not every owner should, but if you bought a working-line dog because you wanted to work it, this is the door.

Where Argos K9 Training Takes Over
Argos Kennels breeds and places dogs. Argos K9 Training trains them — yours and everyone else's, out of the same five-acre site in Surrey. Same family, same standards, separate booking.
If your question is about a puppy, a litter or a placement, ask us. If it is about classes, a board-and-train slot or specialist work, their site is where the full offering lives and where dates get booked. We will point you there ourselves if you ask us first; this is only here so you do not have to.
