Our Story

Bred For Purpose, Not For Trends

Our decades of combined experience extend to all things dog — training, grooming, daycare, health and wellness. At Argos Kennels we specialize in breeding temperament-proven Rottweilers and working line German Shepherds that excel as both family companions and working dogs.

It began with two detection dogs, Kody Vilipo and Gia, and work that demanded dogs equal to it. Everything since — the European working lines, the titles, the Rottweiler program built on Estor — came out of that.

Upcoming Litter

Planned For Fall

  • Expected October
  • Reservations Open
  • Rottweiler

A Rottweiler litter out of Ida — granddaughter of the legendary Gringo vom Oberpfälzer Such — to Estor von Oderhellen, IGP3, the dog this program was built on. Estor has passed, but his semen was collected and preserved before he died: this litter is his, and it is the reason that line continues. Puppies are placed through the same screening every Estor litter goes through. Reservations are open now.

Very few Rottweilers hold both an IGP3 and an Excellent at the ADRK's own World Show — Estor held both, and this litter carries them forward.

Estor's semen was collected and preserved before he died. This litter is his — the same sire, the same line, planned and screened the way every Estor litter has been.

Our Dogs

Every dog in the program is published as a record — line, role and temperament, in the open. Serious buyers read dogs as spec sheets, so we print the spec sheet.

TemperamentA world-level competitor's drive with an off switch — well-rounded, highly intelligent, and level under pressure.

Estor von Oderhellen is the dog the Rottweiler program is built on. Born in 2015, he earned his IGP3 with 273 of a possible 300 at the 2019 Debrecen Trial, a record that runs from the foundational BH through IPO1 and AD, and took Romanian Klub Sieger titles and Best of Breed wins under judges who do not hand them out. Estor has passed away. His semen was collected and preserved before he died, so his line continues and he remains a sire in the program — his litters are planned deliberately and placed through an extensive screening process.

A Kennel, A Ranch, And A Training Facility

Argos is one operation with three arms, run by the same people out of the same corner of Surrey and Langley. That is the part worth understanding before you take a puppy home: the breeding program does not hand you a dog and wish you luck. The facility that boards and grooms it, and the trainers who take it from a sit-stay to protection work, are the same family — and they were there before you arrived.

Argos Pet Ranch

Five acres in Surrey, with secure kennels, enclosures and run space. It is where our own dogs live and where yours can stay — for a weekend, for a holiday, or every Tuesday. Grooming and daycare run out of the same site, so the dog is handled by people who already know it.
